This Privacy Policy explains how the Wunder Runes mobile application (the “App”) handles information. In this Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Ancient Alphabets Pty Ltd, the developer and publisher identified above.
Our privacy commitment
Ancient Alphabets Pty Ltd will never sell, rent, or share user data for advertising, targeted marketing, data brokerage, profiling, or the monetisation of user data. The App contains no advertising SDKs and does not use user data to serve advertisements.
We only permit information to be processed where it is necessary to provide an App feature, meet legal obligations, protect the App against fraud, or complete a user-requested action such as a Google Play purchase or sharing a score.
Information stored on your device
Wunder Runes is designed to operate primarily on your device. The App may store the following information locally:
- Local player names or profiles you choose to create;
- Game progress, scores, personal bests, settings, and saved sessions;
- The amount of the cumulative 30-minute free trial that has been used; and
- A limited record of the most recently verified purchase entitlement.
This information is used only to provide App functionality. It is not uploaded to a Wunder Runes account or developer-operated server in version 1 of the App.
Google Play purchases
The App offers a monthly subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase through Google Play. Google processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details.
Google Play may provide the App with limited purchase information, such as whether a purchase is completed, pending, active, cancelled, expired, refunded, or restored. The App uses this status only to determine whether paid features should be available, prevent fraud, restore purchases, and provide purchase support.

Information we do not collect for ourselves
In version 1, the App does not operate a user-account system or online leaderboard. We do not collect for ourselves:
- Email addresses, telephone numbers, or postal addresses;
- Precise or approximate location;
- Contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or camera data;
- Advertising identifiers;
- Payment-card or bank-account details; or
- App activity for advertising, targeted marketing, or user-data monetisation.
The App does not include third-party advertising or behavioural analytics services.
Font delivery
Some versions of the App may retrieve a runic typeface from Google Fonts. When this happens, Google may receive standard technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and the date and time of the request. We do not receive that information or use it for advertising or data monetisation. Google’s privacy policy governs Google’s handling of that request. A future release may package this font directly in the App instead.
User-directed sharing
If you choose to use a sharing feature, your device may open its system sharing interface so you can send content, such as a score card, to an app or person you select. Wunder Runes does not choose the recipient and does not receive a copy. The receiving service’s own privacy policy applies once you choose to share the content.
Data sharing and disclosure
We do not share user data except:
- With Google Play when necessary to process, verify, manage, refund, or restore a purchase;
- When you deliberately direct your device to share content;
- When required to comply with applicable law, a valid legal process, or an enforceable governmental request; or
- When reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud, or protect the rights and safety of Wunder Runes and Ancient Alphabets Pty Ltd.
None of these disclosures is made for advertising or monetisation of user data.
Data retention and deletion
Local profiles, progress, scores, trial usage, and cached entitlement information remain on your device until removed through an available in-app deletion control, by clearing the App’s storage, or by uninstalling the App. Device and operating-system behaviour may affect when local copies are fully removed.
Google may retain transaction and purchase records according to its own legal obligations and privacy policy. Questions or deletion requests concerning Google-held payment information should be directed to Google.
Because version 1 does not provide Wunder Runes online accounts or developer-operated cloud storage, we ordinarily have no server-side profile or gameplay data to identify or delete. You may contact us using the privacy contact above if you believe we hold information about you.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the App’s local-first design. Purchase status is checked through Google Play, the Android free-trial counter is stored in private application storage, and Android backup is disabled for the App. No method of electronic storage or processing is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children’s privacy
Wunder Runes does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Local player names should not contain a child’s full legal name or other identifying information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
International users
Google may process purchase information in countries other than your own under Google’s privacy terms. The App’s developer does not otherwise transfer local profile or gameplay information to a developer-operated server in version 1.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its services, or legal requirements change. We will change the effective date above and make the updated Policy available at the same public location. Material changes will be communicated in the App or store listing when appropriate.
